The theme settings are the foundation for all your email designs. When you create a new email or add a new content block, the style from your theme settings is automatically applied. For example, if you insert a new button, it'll automatically use the font, color and padding you've set here.
In the first card you set the default text styles:
You can choose from a wide selection of Google Fonts. Via 'Import fonts and colors', Xendy can also automatically detect and apply the fonts and colors from your website.

Buttons
In the button card you set the default style of your buttons:

Next to the settings you'll see a live preview of your theme, so you can immediately see how the styles look in real emails.

No, Xendy doesn't support uploading your own fonts. This is because they're not supported by most email clients like Outlook, Gmail and Hotmail. Xendy does offer a selection of Google Fonts, but those aren't always supported either. In that case, Xendy falls back to Arial or Helvetica.
Designing emails is different from building a website. Because dozens of different email clients each have their own rules, an email can look slightly different depending on which client you're using.
