How often is data fetched?

Xendy fetches your Magento data once a day, overnight. If this fails, you'll automatically get a notification by email.

Send extra fields from Magento 2 to Xendy

On top of the standard sync, you can also send custom fields, like a VIP status, loyalty points, or a training date.

How does it work?

  • Send extra fields via the customer or order endpoints in Magento.
  • Always use the prefix xendy_ in the field name, for example xendy_vip_status or xendy_training_date.
  • Xendy automatically recognizes these fields and saves them to the contact profile.

Where can you use the fields?

  • In the filter rules of dynamic segments, so you can build lists based on this data.
  • In the email editor: add fields using the @ sign, for example @xendy_vip_status.

Examples:

  • Segment customers based on loyalty points.
  • Send reminder emails based on a training date.
  • Personalize emails with: "Thanks for your order, @xendy_company_name!"

Frequently asked questions

Xendy fetches your Magento data once a day, overnight. If this doesn't work, you'll automatically get a notification by email.

Yep! With Magento 2 data you can create dynamic segments in Xendy. You can filter on:

  • The number of purchases a customer has made.
  • The total order value.
  • How long ago someone last placed an order.
  • Specific products or product categories that have or haven't been purchased.

This makes it easy to target recent buyers, loyal customers with a high order value, or customers who haven't been active in a while.
