Step 1: sign up for Xendy

1. Create an account

Go to the Xendy website and choose one of the following options:

  • Register with your email: enter your email address and a password and click Register.
  • Continue with Google: log in with your Google account for a faster setup.

2. Set up your account

After registration, you'll go through a short setup:

  • Enter your company name — this appears as the sender in your recipients' inbox.
  • Provide the email address you want to send from (e.g. info@yourcompany.com). Email addresses from public services such as Gmail or Outlook are not allowed.

3. Start your free trial

You can try Xendy free for 7 days, with all features and no limitations. Afterwards, you choose the plan that suits you in your dashboard — starting from €9 per month, cancellable monthly and without fixed contracts.

Step 2: adding contacts

Go to All contacts in the left menu and click Add contacts in the top right. You have four ways to add contacts:

2.1 Upload contacts (CSV or Excel file)

  • Save your contact list as .csv or .xlsx.
  • Drag the file into Xendy or select it from your computer.
  • Map the columns (e.g. name, email) to the fields in Xendy; the email field is required.
  • Complete the import.

2.2 Add an individual contact

  • Add a contact by entering the details manually.
  • Optionally fill in additional fields (e.g. name).
  • Click Save.

2.3 Paste a list of email addresses

  • Paste a list of email addresses (one per line) and import them all at once.

2.4 Via a webhook (Xendy Pro)

  • Use a webhook for automated imports from external systems, such as a CRM or website form.
  • Xendy provides you with a webhook URL and instructions.
  • Post the data in JSON format; contacts are added automatically.

Webshop integration (optional, Xendy Pro)

Do you have a webshop? Connect it to Xendy for automatic synchronization of your customers, products, and orders. Supported platforms:

  • WooCommerce
  • Shopify
  • Magento 2
  • Lightspeed

Tip: after importing, check that all fields are mapped correctly and use segments to organize your contacts.

Step 3: verifying your domain

To send emails via Xendy, you need to verify your domain. This is important for the following reasons:

  • Trust & authenticity: recipients see your emails as legitimate.
  • Improved deliverability: the chance of emails ending up in the spam folder is reduced.
  • Professional appearance: emails are sent from your own domain.

In this step you'll see an overview of all DNS records you need to set up with your domain hosting provider. The records are divided into three groups:

  • DKIM — Signing: signs your outgoing emails.
  • DMARC — Policy: determines what happens when a check fails.
  • MAIL FROM — Sending address: manages bounces and the sending domain.

For each record you'll see the columns Type, Name, and Value. Use the copy button next to Name or Value to quickly copy the correct information into your DNS management environment.

Next to each record there is a status label indicating whether the record is set up correctly:

  • Found – the record is correctly present in your DNS.
  • Not found – the record is missing or incorrect.
  • Checking… – the check is currently in progress.
  • Not checked yet – no check has been performed yet.

You can check a single record using the check button next to that record, or all records at once using the Check all button. Once all records have the status Found, you can start a new verification using the Verify again button. The page also shows when the last check was performed.

Advanced features & support

Once your account is set up, you can explore more features:

  • Email automations: set up automated email sequences based on behavior or triggers.
  • Webshop connection: connect your webshop for extra possibilities.
  • Forms & pop-ups: connect sign-up forms and pop-ups to your contact lists.
  • Segmentation: organize contacts into segments for targeted campaigns.

Knowledge base & support

Got questions? The knowledge base is your go-to resource for in-depth explanations. Support is always included with every plan, at no extra cost. The Xendy team is happy to help — even if you've got questions about growth.
